Q. Can toilet-bowl cleaner be used on bathroom benches and floors?
No unless the manufacturer specifically says it can. Toilet-bowl cleaners are formulated for toilet bowls and urinals and may be too strong for benches, fittings, grout, stone or general flooring. Use a product made for the exact bathroom surface.
Q. Which floor cleaner should I use on timber, laminate, vinyl or stone?
Start with the flooring manufacturer’s care directions. Timber, laminate, vinyl, ceramic tile and natural stone do not all tolerate the same cleaner. Choose a product that names the floor type, use the correct dilution and avoid leaving excess water on moisture-sensitive floors.
