Agar Mop and Dry Fast Drying Floor Detergent Concentrate 5L

One spill in a busy corridor leaves you with an ugly choice: drag out the bucket and close the whole section, or leave the mess and hope nobody goes over on it. Most sites do not need a full mop and scrub at two in the afternoon. They need the one dirty patch gone and the floor dry before the next trolley comes through.

Spot clean the mess and reopen the floor

Agar Mop'N'Dry is a fast drying floor detergent concentrate made for microfibre mops and spray and glide mops. Cooking oil, food and drink spills and general traffic dirt break down quickly, and the floor dries fast with no residue or film left behind.

Because it dries fast, wet floor time drops and so does the slip risk that comes with it. The spill gets dealt with, the section reopens, and nobody is left standing guard over a wet patch while people keep walking through.

Where it can be used: 

All types of hard floors. It earns its keep in high traffic areas where spills and marks need dealing with between scheduled full mops.

Dilution: Mix 1 part Mop'N'Dry with 10 parts water. Fill the canister of a spray and glide mop, a trigger spray bottle, or a microfibre mop bucket with the diluted solution.

Spot cleaning: Spray the solution onto the spot you want to clean, then mop over it with a microfibre mop.

Bucket mopping: Dip the mop in the solution and wring it out well, then spread it evenly across the area. The floor should end up just damp, so avoid over-wetting.

Finish: Let the floor dry. No rinsing is needed, and the surface dries fast without residue or film.

Do not mix: Do not mix Mop'N'Dry with other chemicals.

The concentrate is not classified as hazardous under Australian SWA workplace chemical criteria and carries no GHS signal word or hazard statements.

Personal protection: Wear gloves when skin contact is likely, and wear eye protection such as glasses or goggles when handling the undiluted product. No special ventilation is required.

First aid: For eye contact, flush the eye with lukewarm, gently flowing water for 5 minutes while holding the eyelids open, and get medical advice if irritation persists. For skin contact, flush with water if irritation occurs. If swallowed, first aid is not generally required, but seek medical attention if you feel unwell. Storage: Keep containers tightly closed and store the product away from strong oxidising agents.

Spills: Minor spills need no special cleanup. For a major spill, stop the liquid reaching drains or waterways, wear gloves and goggles, absorb it onto sand or vermiculite, and collect it into labelled containers for disposal.

Environmental: Mop'N'Dry is biodegradable and phosphate free, and it will not accumulate in soil or water.

Disposal: Pour used solutions into a sink, trough or drain that leads to the sewer or a septic tank, never into a stormwater drain or down a driveway. Unused product should be used up or passed on in its original labelled container, and modest quantities can go down a sewer drain with running water. Do not mix different products together during disposal. Empty 5Lt containers are HDPE or PET and can go into kerbside recycling.
