Whiteley Viraclean is a ready to use hospital grade disinfectant that cleans and disinfects hard surfaces in one pass. It is listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods as a hospital grade disinfectant, and it kills a broad range of bacteria and viruses including SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), MRSA, VRE and Hepatitis B virus. Because it works in both clean and dirty conditions, a soiled surface can be cleaned and disinfected in the same wipe.

Viraclean is ready to use. Do not dilute it.

1. Spray Viraclean undiluted onto the surface, or apply it with a cloth.
2. To disinfect, leave the surface wet for 10 minutes at room temperature, then wipe up any excess with a fresh disposable cloth or leave it to dry.
3. For blood or body-fluid spills, apply Viraclean liberally around the spill and work towards the centre, soak it up with a fresh disposable cloth, then disinfect the cleaned surface.
4. Use a fresh cloth for each area so soil is not carried from one surface to the next.
5. Put used cloths straight into a suitable waste receptacle.

Viraclean is not classified as hazardous under GHS and carries no signal word or hazard statements. It may cause eye or skin irritation on contact.
Wear nitrile gloves and eye protection when using it, and use it in a well-ventilated area.
First aid. For eye contact, hold the eyelids apart and flush with running water. For skin contact, remove affected clothing and flush the skin with running water. If inhaled, move the person to fresh air. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting, give water if the person is conscious, and phone the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 or a doctor.
Store below 30°C in the original container, kept tightly sealed and out of direct sunlight.
Do not mix Viraclean with other chemicals unless the label or SDS states it can be done.
For spills, contain the spill with an absorbent material, keep it out of stormwater drains, and dispose of the clean-up material according to local regulations.

Environmental and disposal: Viraclean is completely biodegradable and comes in a recyclable container. Dispose of it to sewer with copious amounts of water, keeping spills out of stormwater drains. Refer to Section 13 of the current SDS for full disposal requirements, and to State or Territory waste authorities where they apply.
