Important Exclusions

(Note: This kit is NOT compatible with the Roomba Combo j7/j7+ or j9+ vacuum and mop hybrids. The "Combo" models use a much smaller filter to make room for the water tank. It is also not compatible with the older 800/900 series, which use grey rubber brushes).

• Q. Are the filters washable?
• A. No. The high-efficiency filters used in the e, i, and j series are made of delicate paper-based media. Washing them will ruin the material and block airflow, potentially damaging your vacuum's motor. Simply tap them against a bin to clean them.
• Q. Why won't this fit my Roomba Combo j7?
• A. While the green rubber brushes are the same, the filters are different. The "Combo" models (which have a built-in mop pad) use a shorter, more compact filter to accommodate the water tank. This standard j7 filter will not fit in a Combo bin.
• Q. How often should I replace these parts?
• A. To maintain peak performance, we recommend replacing the filters every 2 to 3 months, the side brushes every 3 to 6 months, and the main rubber rollers every 6 to 12 months (or when the rubber tread appears worn down and smooth).
