Filter Bags For Festool CT17 Dust Extractor (FIS-CT 17 Alternative), Pack of 10

When timber is cut or sanded, fine dust and sawdust collect in the extractor. MyVac dust bags hold that material in a disposable pouch, so a full bag can be lifted out with the debris inside instead of tipping loose dust from the container. This pack contains ten bags for Festool CT 17 E and CTL 17 dust extractors.

The bags are made from five layers of non-woven synthetic material. Air passes through the bag while dry workshop dust is collected inside. Heat-joined seams close the edges of the pouch, and a cardboard tab folds over the inlet when it is time to remove a full bag.

Bag fit and dimensions for Festool CT 17 E and CTL 17

The CT 17 E and CTL 17 use the FIS-CT 17/5 bag type, Festool part number 769136. Each MyVac bag has a rectangular cardboard mounting collar measuring 190 x 148 mm, with an outer circular fitting 68 mm across. The collar sits at the extractor inlet, while the flexible pouch opens into the container.

What is included

Ten disposable dust bags are included. The extractor's main filter is a separate component and is not included in the pack.

Changing a full dust bag

Switch off and unplug the machine before changing bags. Fold the tab over the opening, take out the full bag and fit a new one with the cardboard collar seated at the inlet. Make sure the pouch has room to open before closing the extractor.

These bags are for dry collection, including sawdust and sanding debris. Remove the dry bag before wet vacuuming and follow your machine's instructions for the correct wet collection arrangement.
