Replacement Dust Bags for Festool CT26, CTL26 and CTM26 (6 Pack)

Keeping the right replacement bags on hand makes cleaning out a dust extractor much easier. These MyVac dust bags collect sawdust, sanding dust and other dry workshop debris inside a disposable pouch, so you can remove the collected material without tipping it loose from the machine.

This six-pack is intended for Festool CT 26, CTL 26 and CTM 26 dust extractors. The same replacement-bag design is also compatible with Protool VCP 260 E-L AC and VCP 260 E-M AC machines.

The bags use five layers of non-woven synthetic material, which allows air to pass through while holding collected dust inside. Heat-joined seams keep the edges of the collection pouch enclosed as it fills.

Replacement Bags for Festool CT 26 and Protool VCP 260

The MyVac bags replace the Festool SC FIS-CT 26/5 filter bag, original part number 496187.

It is important to distinguish this from Festool part number 496216, which identifies a plastic disposal bag used with AUTOCLEAN extraction systems. The two bag types serve different purposes.

For Protool machines with automatic filter cleaning, check whether your operating setup requires a filter bag or a plastic disposal bag. The correct choice depends on how the extractor is being used.

Bag Dimensions and Package Contents

The cardboard mounting collar measures 13.5 x 14.5 cm, with a 75 mm inlet that connects to the dust extractor. Each flexible bag measures 50 x 78 cm.

The pack contains 6 disposable MyVac dust bags for regular dry vacuuming.

Replacing a Full Dust Bag

Switch off and unplug the extractor before opening the container. Remove the used bag carefully, seat the new cardboard collar at the dust inlet and allow the flexible pouch to open inside the container before closing the machine.

Replace the bag when it is full or damaged. Remove dry collection bags before wet vacuuming, and follow the extractor manual for the correct collection system.
