Agar Superforce Heavy Duty Cleaner Deodorant Concentrate 5Lt

A cleaning round usually carries three or four chemicals because the jobs refuse to match each other. Grease behind the kitchen line, carbon and smoke marks on painted walls, ink and scuffing across the floor, and a light wipe over glass and blinds all get treated as separate problems, and the trolley fills up to suit.

Agar Superforce is one alkaline detergent concentrate that covers that whole spread. It lifts dirt, food spills, greasy and oily films, fat, carbon and smoke deposits, ink spills and bathroom build-ups, and it deodorises the area while it cleans. Because it is a concentrate, the same 5Lt bottle mixes strong enough for ingrained dirt and weak enough for a quick wipe over glass.

Grease cutting surfactants attack and disperse oily soils, while builders and buffers soften the water and hold the pH steady so the cleaning action keeps going. That water softening is why the chemical still works in hard water, and why hot water is optional rather than necessary. The suspension side matters most on floors: soil that stays held in the bucket water does not settle back down as the surface dries, so the floor comes up clean instead of greyed over. Perfume oils leave a spice floral fragrance once the surface is dry.

• One chemical instead of four: A single bottle handles ingrained dirt, heavy duty work, daily floor maintenance and light surface cleaning. Cleaners running mixed sites carry one drum and change the mix rather than changing the chemical.
• Cost per bucket drops sharply: At the lightest working rate a 5Lt bottle makes a very large volume of usable mix, which is what makes it worth buying over a ready to use spray. Concentrate pricing only makes sense if the rates get used properly, and each job has its own.
• Low suds suits autoscrubbers: Foam fills a recovery tank and reaches the vacuum motor, so a low to moderate foaming chemical keeps machine cleaning running instead of stopping to deal with froth. It works the same way in a mop bucket.
• Soil stays off the floor: Dirt held in suspension does not redeposit as the water dries, so a large floor cleaned with one bucket does not finish duller than it started. This is the difference between a floor that looks mopped and one that looks clean.
• No rinsing step: The surface can be left to dry without a second pass with clean water, which takes a whole stage out of a nightly floor round. On a large site that is the single biggest labour saving here.

The rule is water: anything water will not harm is fair game, and anything water will harm is not.

Anything that water damages is off the list, which rules out unsealed timber, untreated porous stone and similar surfaces. 

Superforce is a concentrate and is diluted with water before it goes onto any surface. There is a separate rate for each job, and picking the right one is the whole trick with this chemical.

Dilution rates:

Degreasing, tyre cleaning and removing ingrained dirt: dilute to 1 in 10 with water
Heavy duty cleaning: dilute to 1 in 50 with water
Maintenance floor cleaning: dilute to 1 in 60 with water
Autoscrubbing terrazzo and vinyl: dilute to 1 in 80 with water
Light duty cleaning: dilute to 1 in 160 with water, which is also the rate for venetian blinds, glass, porcelain, ceramic tiles, cars and stainless steel

How to apply it: Mop or scrub the diluted mix across the surface. In an autoscrubber, fill the machine with the mix made up at the autoscrubbing rate.

Water temperature: Hot and cold water both work, so there is no need to heat a bucket for the cleaning action alone.

Finishing off: Rinsing is not necessary. The surface can be left to dry once the soil has been lifted and picked up.

Do not mix: Do not mix Superforce with other chemicals unless the label or SDS states it can be done. This applies during cleaning and during disposal.
