Agar Softie Chlorinated Creme Cleanser - Kills Mould and Cleans 5Lt

For bathroom and kitchen hard surfaces including basins, baths, tiles, chrome and stainless steel.
Agar Softie is a 5Lt chlorinated cream cleanser for lifting soap scum, water stains and greasy marks.
It works straight from the bottle onto a damp cloth, and the thick cream clings to vertical surfaces like shower walls and tiled recesses.
It cleans and polishes hard surfaces in one pass, so taps, sinks and stainless steel come up bright without a separate polish.

Description

Soap scum, water stains, greasy finger marks and body fats build up on bathroom and kitchen surfaces and just sit there. A quick spray and wipe often slides straight over that kind of build up, so the marks come back as soon as the surface dries.

Agar Softie is a thick chlorinated cream cleanser for hard surfaces across bathrooms, washrooms, kitchens and utility areas. It cleans and sanitises enamel, stainless steel, laminex, porcelain, chrome, glass and tiles, and it is used straight from the bottle onto a damp cloth.

How Softie works

Softie combines dissolved chlorine, grease cutting detergents and soft mineral polishing agents. The detergents loosen soap residue, body fats and greasy marks, while the fine polishing minerals lift staining and brighten the surface without harsh scratching on suitable hard surfaces.

Because it is a thick cream rather than a thin liquid, it holds on shower walls, basins, taps and other upright surfaces long enough to do the work instead of running to the floor. Wipe the residue off with a clean damp cloth and the surface is left clean and bright.

Here is what Softie does across a bathroom and kitchen run:

  • Lifts built up bathroom and kitchen soil: It clears soap scum, water stains, greasy finger marks and body fats that a spray cleaner slides over. The thick chlorinated cream and fine polishing minerals do the lifting.
  • Clings where sprays run off: It stays put on shower walls, basins, taps and other vertical surfaces long enough to work. A thin liquid runs to the floor, while this cream holds on the mark.
  • One cream for the washroom and the kitchen: It works across porcelain, enamel, chrome, glass, tiles, stainless steel and laminex, so a cleaning team carries one product instead of several. It cleans and sanitises those hard surfaces as it goes.
  • Sized for a full cleaning run: The 5Lt bottle refills smaller applicator bottles between jobs and sites, which keeps the cost per clean down for busy commercial teams.
  • Used straight from the bottle: It goes neat onto a damp cloth with no mixing, measuring or dilution to get wrong on site. Apply it, work it over the surface, then wipe the residue away.

Softie is for use on enamel, stainless steel, laminex, porcelain basins and baths, chrome, glass and tile surfaces. It suits shower recesses, sinks, toilet bowls, urinals and other hard surfaces across bathrooms, washrooms, kitchens and utility areas.

Not suitable for: shiny plastic surfaces, and aluminium, zinc or tin and their alloys.

Usage Guidelines

Softie is used straight from the bottle, with no dilution.

How to apply: Apply Softie directly to a clean, damp cloth. Work it over the surface with a polishing action so the cream covers the marks you are cleaning.

Finishing off: Remove any leftover residue with a clean, damp cloth so nothing is left to dry on the surface. Replace the cap on the bottle after use.

Do not mix: Do not mix Softie with other chemicals.

FAQ

Q. Will Softie scratch stainless steel, enamel or chrome?

A. On those hard surfaces it lifts marks rather than scratching them, because the polishing minerals in it are soft and made for stainless steel, enamel, porcelain and chrome. Test a hidden spot first on older, delicate or unknown finishes before you do the whole surface.

Q. Can I just use a bicarb soda paste instead of Softie?

A. For a light home touch up, a bicarb soda paste does shift thin soap scum and freshen a sink, so it is fine for that. For heavy build up, body fats and water staining across a commercial washroom, Softie's chlorinated cream and polishing minerals lift more in one pass than a loose paste manages.

Q. Why does Softie smell like chlorine, and is that normal?

A. Yes, the faint chlorine smell is normal. Softie contains dissolved chlorine as part of how it lifts mould marks and soap scum, so a light chlorine odour while you clean is expected rather than a sign of a fault.

Q. Is Softie just bleach in a cream?

A. No, it is a cream cleanser that happens to contain chlorine. Alongside the dissolved chlorine it carries grease cutting detergents and soft polishing minerals, so it lifts and brightens as it cleans, where straight bleach only whitens and gives you no scrubbing action.

Q. How long does Softie keep once I have it?

A. Stored sealed and out of direct sun, Softie keeps for about 12 months. Try to keep it somewhere that does not get very hot or cold, and give the bottle a shake if it has been standing for a while.

Q. Will Softie leave streaks on glass and chrome?

A. Not if you wipe the residue off with a clean damp cloth after cleaning, which leaves glass, chrome and tiles clean and bright. Leaving cream to dry on the surface is what causes streaking, so the wipe off step matters on shiny surfaces.
