Description
Description
Sealed vinyl runs through most offices, schools and retail floors, and it goes dull from the middle of the walkway outwards. Traffic wears the polish flat well before the floor reads as dirty, which is how you end up with a clean floor that still looks tired.
Agar Shinywash is a pine-scented wash and polish detergent that cleans the floor and replenishes the acrylic polish in the one operation. Routine soilage comes off vinyl, timber, linoleum and stone, and the 5Lt concentrate dilutes anywhere from 1 in 10 to 1 in 40 with water depending on how much soil the floor is carrying.
How Shinywash cleans and puts the polish back.
The detergent side works first: surfactants emulsify the soilage and lift it off the floor. Polish resins and polyethylene polymers follow, adhering preferentially to the floor and forming a protective film as the surface dries. Buffing the clean floor at slow to medium speed brings that film up to a high finish.
For a cleaning team that means one bottle and one bucket on the daily floor round, with the polish going back down as the soil comes off. Low foam height keeps the same dilution workable through an autoscrubber. Current SDS and PDS are both available for the site folder.
Key features and benefits:
Cleans and replenishes the polish in one operation: Surfactants lift the routine soilage while the polish components go back down on the floor, so the daily mop round does both jobs from one bottle.
Dilutes from 1 in 10 to 1 in 40: The mix moves with the soilage rather than sitting at one fixed rate, and at the weakest end a 5Lt bottle makes 200Lt of mopping solution.
The bucket mix is not classified as hazardous: Diluted to 1 in 3 or more with water, the product is no longer classified as hazardous, and every stated use dilution sits well past that point. Neat product is a different matter, so gloves and eye protection go on when you decant.
Low foam suits a machine as well as a mop: Foam height is low, so the same dilution can go through an autoscrubber instead of tying the job to a bucket and mop.
Buffs to a high finish at slow to medium speed: Once the floor is clean and dry, buffing takes the polish film up to a shine. Ultra-high speed burnishing above 1200rpm sits outside what Shinywash is intended for, so keep the pad speed down.
Where it can be used: Shinywash is for routine cleaning on sealed vinyl, linoleum and stone floors, and it removes routine floor soilage from timber as well.
