Commercial floors take a beating from traffic dirt, food and drink spills and cooking oils, and the wrong detergent can leave polished and sealed floors looking flat over time. Agar Novadet is a low alkaline floor cleaner concentrate built for that job, cleaning waxed and polished floors, terrazzo, marble, slate, glass and walls without stripping the finish.

Being low alkaline is the point. The detergent lifts dirt, grease and general traffic grime, then holds the soil in suspension so it does not redeposit and smear back as the floor dries. Sensitive floor finishes are left unharmed, and for everyday mopping there is no need to rinse it off. A rose fragrance with deodorant action leaves the area smelling fresh once the floor is clean.

Sweep or dust mop first, then dilute Novadet to suit the job and apply by mop, sponge or autoscrubber.

Daily and light cleaning: Mix 1 part Novadet to 100 parts water, about half a cup per bucket, half a litre per tank for small scrubbers or 1L for large. Mop or scrub as usual. No rinse is needed for general cleaning.

Heavier soil and traffic grime: Mix 1 part Novadet to 50 parts water, about three quarters of a cup per bucket, 1L per tank for small scrubbers or 2L for large. Mop or scrub as usual.

Scrubbing polished floors back before a fresh coat: Mix 1 part Novadet to 20 parts water and scrub with blue pads. Pick up the solution and rinse with hot water so nothing is left under the new finish.

Do not mix: Do not mix Novadet with other chemicals unless the label or SDS says it can be done.

Safety and storage:
Wear protective gloves and eye protection when handling the concentrate.
Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin.
If it gets in the eyes, rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
Wash skin with soap and water after contact.
Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from incompatible materials, and keep the container closed.
Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not swallow.

Environmental and disposal:
The formulation is biodegradable and contains biodegradable surfactants. Dispose of in accordance with local council and regulatory requirements. Do not pour concentrated product down stormwater drains. Refer to Section 13 of the current SDS for disposal requirements.
