Mould and mildew cleaner for wet areas and outdoor hard surfaces

Mould and mildew build up quickly in damp areas. Showers, grout, tiles, basins, glass, walls and outdoor surfaces can hold dark stains, soap build-up, body fats and dirt that a normal cleaner may not shift.

Agar MOULD-X is a ready to use mould and mildew remover for hard surfaces. It cleans mould stains, mildew marks, dirt, fats, oils, soap build-up and other soil from wet areas and outdoor surfaces.

Use it on surfaces that are not harmed by water and chlorine, such as tiles, grout, showers, baths, basins, glass, porcelain, walls, ceilings and unpolished tiled floors. It can also be used outdoors on walls, under eaves, roofs, driveways, paths, fences, brick, concrete and sandstone.

Pre-test first before using it across a larger area. Apply by spray, mop or cloth, scrub with a nylon brush if needed, leave for 10 minutes, then rinse well with clean water and allow the surface to dry.

How the Product Works

MOULD-X uses chlorine cleaning action to kill mould and mildew on hard surfaces.

The cleaner also breaks down the dirty build-up around the mould, such as soap scum, body fats, oils and grime. This makes the stain easier to scrub and rinse away.

The 10 minute wait time matters. It gives the cleaner time to work before the surface is rinsed.

A nylon brush is useful on grout, shower recesses and rough surfaces because it helps the cleaner reach into small gaps and uneven areas.

• Mixing with detergents, acids or other chemicals.
• Use without pre-testing.

General Pre-Test
Pre-test the surface before wider use.
Choose a small hidden area first.
Apply a small amount of MOULD-X.
Wait, rinse and let the test area dry.
Continue only if the surface looks unchanged.

Bathroom, Shower, Tile and Grout Cleaning
Wear gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.
Make sure the area has good airflow.
Apply MOULD-X by spray, mop or cloth.
Scrub with a nylon brush where mould, mildew or build-up is sitting.
Leave the cleaner on the surface for 10 minutes.
Rinse well with clean water.
Allow the surface to dry.
Repeat if staining remains.

Outdoor Hard Surfaces
Pre-test the outdoor surface first.
Apply by spray, mop or cloth.
Scrub rough areas if needed.
Leave for 10 minutes.
Rinse well with clean water.
Keep rinse water away from plants, ponds and stormwater where possible.

Important Use Notes
Do not mix with detergents, acids or other chemicals.
Do not allow contact with carpets or fabrics.
Do not use on polished floors that can be damaged by strong alkaline cleaners.
Pre-test aluminium before use.
Store below 25°C and away from direct sunlight.
