Agar Leather Care Cleaner Protector and Conditioner with Beeswax 1Lt

Finished leather has a hard life. Car seats, office lounge suites, handbags and boots all pick up skin oils, dust and grime, and the same daily use slowly dries the hide out until it stiffens and loses its richness. Agar Leather Care is a cleaner, conditioner and protector made for fully-pigmented, smooth finished leather, so the cleaning and the feeding happen together rather than as two separate chores.

It is a water-based emulsion carrying beeswax and lanolin. Mild detergents lift everyday dirt, and as the product dries it settles into a wax-rich film that moisturises the hide and brings up a soft sheen. It works straight from the bottle with no mixing or diluting.

One bottle for cleaning and conditioning finished leather

Used regularly it keeps seats, lounges and bags supple and presentable instead of dry and tired, which makes it a practical pick for detailers, offices, hospitality venues and households looking after good leather. It comes with a current Safety Data Sheet and Product Data Sheet, so you can check exactly what you are using.

Cleans without stripping colour or finish: the mild, water-based detergents lift dirt gently, so you refresh finished leather without the harsh solvents that drag colour and coating off the surface.

Guards against everyday stains and spills: the protective finish keeps spots and spillages sitting on top of the leather, so they can be wiped away before they soak in and leave a mark.

Feeds the leather while it cleans: beeswax and lanolin put moisture back into the hide, so seats and upholstery stay soft and supple instead of drying out and going stiff.

Extends the life of the leather: keeping the hide conditioned maintains its durability, so ageing car interiors and lounge suites look presentable rather than cracked and worn.

One product across the whole leather job: because it cleans, conditions and protects together, a detailing van or cleaning cupboard runs a single bottle instead of stocking a separate cleaner, conditioner and protectant.

Where it can be used: 

Fully-pigmented, smooth, finished leather, including:

• Leather upholstery, including lounge suites and car and vehicle interiors
• Jackets, handbags, suitcases and other leather bags
• Shoes, boots and leather fashion accessories

Not suitable for: suede, nubuck, aniline leather, unfinished leather, and fabrics. Use a product made for those materials instead.

Usage Cautions:
Important Restriction: Agar Leather Care is NOT suitable for use on suede, nubuck, aniline, or unfinished leathers. Always check the manufacturer's care label before application.

Preparation:
Vacuum the leather to remove dust.
Absorb any spillages with a sponge or paper towel.
Shake the bottle well before use.

Testing:
(Crucial Step) Before applying to the main area, test the product on a small, inconspicuous spot (e.g., the back of a sofa or under a cushion). If the leather darkens significantly or if colour transfers onto your cloth, do not proceed.

Application:

If the test is successful, spray Agar Leather Care onto a clean cloth.
Wipe it evenly across the leather surface, applying a generous, uniform film that covers all areas.
Use light, circular movements without rubbing hard.
Allow the leather to dry, then polish lightly with a dry, soft cloth.

Regular Use:
For best results, use Agar Leather Care regularly. Once a month is ideal to maintain the leather’s condition and appearance.

Safety Information.

Personal Protection: Use protective gloves if you have sensitive skin or allergies.
Eye Contact: In case of contact, rinse eyes immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
Skin Contact: Wash affected skin with soap and water if contact occurs. Seek medical advice if irritation develops.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and incompatible substances. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Ingestion: Do not ingest. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.

Environmental Care.

Environment: the formula is water-based, non-flammable, phosphate-free and built on biodegradable surfactants, and it is not classified as harmful to aquatic organisms.

Disposal: pour used solution into a drain or trough that runs to the sewer or a septic system, never into stormwater drains or driveways, which run to waterways. Empty bottles are HDPE or PET and can be recycled through kerbside collection or returned to Agar. See Section 13 of the current Safety Data Sheet for full disposal guidance.
