Agar Kuranda GECA Certified Concentrated Green Commercial Grade Disinfectant 5Lt

Busy hard-surface areas often need more than a detergent alone. Dirt and grease need to be removed while germs and unpleasant odours are dealt with during the same clean. Agar Kuranda combines detergent cleaning with commercial-grade disinfection for routine hard-surface maintenance.

The water-based formula uses plant-derived surfactants to attack soil, dirt and grease with minimum residue. It removes the source of bad odours and leaves a lingering sweet floral fragrance after cleaning.

Where It Can Be Used

Kuranda is intended for cleaning and disinfecting washable hard surfaces, including:

• Floors and walls
• Benches and tables
• Desks and touch points
• Sinks and baths
• Toilets
• Tiled areas
• Hard-surface fittings

Cleaning and disinfecting dilution: Dilute Kuranda 1 in 25 with water.

1. Prepare only the amount of diluted solution needed for the cleaning task.
2. Use the diluted solution for cleaning and disinfecting washable hard surfaces such as walls, floors, fittings and toilets.
3. Prepare fresh solution daily or as required.
4. Use diluted Kuranda within 6 to 8 hours. Discard remaining diluted solution after this time.

Wringer bucket guide: 1 in 25 dilution is about 1 cup per wringer bucket of water. Use the 1 in 25 dilution as the primary mixing instruction.

Gloves: Wear gloves where ongoing skin contact is possible.

Food-processing restriction: Kuranda is perfumed. Do not use perfumed products in food-processing applications where the fragrance could potentially taint food.

Do not mix: Keep Kuranda separate from oxidising agents and anionic detergents. Do not create unapproved mixtures with other cleaning chemicals.

Safety and Handling
Concentrate: Warning. Causes skin irritation and serious eye irritation and is harmful to aquatic life. Wear protective gloves and eye or face protection when handling the concentrate.

Diluted solution: The SDS states that Kuranda becomes non-hazardous when diluted to 1 in 2.55 or more with water. The normal 1 in 25 use dilution is therefore below the hazardous-classification threshold. Continue to avoid unnecessary chemical contact and wear gloves where skin contact is likely.

Keep out of reach of children.
Wash contacted skin thoroughly after handling.
Keep the container tightly closed.
Store in the original sealed container out of direct sunlight.
Keep the product between approximately 10°C and 30°C during storage.
Keep Kuranda separate from oxidising agents and anionic detergents.

Eye contact: Rinse cautiously with gently flowing water for at least 5 minutes or until the product is removed. Remove contact lenses when easy to do and obtain medical advice if irritation occurs or persists.

Skin contact: Wash gently and thoroughly with water, using non-abrasive soap if required. Remove contaminated clothing and obtain medical advice if irritation develops.

Inhalation: Move to fresh air if irritation develops. Obtain medical advice if irritation becomes painful or persists.

If swallowed: Obtain medical attention if unwell. For poisoning or exposure advice contact the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26.

Spills: Prevent significant spills from entering drains or waterways. Contain larger spills with sand, vermiculite or another suitable absorbent and collect the material into labelled containers for recovery or disposal.

Low VOC formulation. The SDS lists volatile content below 1.0%.
Contains no alkyl phenol ethoxylates, phthalates, heavy metals, ozone-depleting substances, ammonia, amines, butyl solvents, ethylene glycol ether solvents, chlorine or hydrocarbon solvents.

Aquatic environment: The concentrate is classified as harmful to aquatic life. Do not release product or used cleaning solution to stormwater drains, driveways or waterways.

Used solution: Agar directs used Kuranda solution to a drain or trough leading to the sewer system or a septic tank. Do not pour used solution into stormwater.

Transport: Kuranda is not classified as Dangerous Goods under ADG, IATA or IMDG criteria.
