Agar Fresco All-in-One Bathroom Cleaner 5L

Soap scum on the shower glass, body fats around the waste, urine build-up in the bowl: washroom soil is sticky, and a neutral spray mostly slides straight over it. A commercial washroom needs a chemical that grabs that build-up and breaks it down without wrecking the fittings.

Agar Fresco is an acid based, all purpose washroom concentrate that dissolves biowaste, urine, soap and fat scum across the whole washroom. Its organic acids come from citrus fruit and malt, the surfactants from coconut oil, and the natural lime oil deodorises as it cleans, leaving a fresh fragrance that lingers after the mop goes back on the trolley. The thickened liquid clings to shower walls, bowls and urinals instead of running straight to the drain, so the acids get time to work on vertical surfaces.

One drum, three dilutions, the whole washroom

Mixed at 1 in 2 it tackles toilets, urinals and scummed up showers; at 1 in 10 it wipes over basins, benches and taps; at 1 in 50 it mops floors and walls. Prolonged contact will not harm stainless steel, porcelain, ceramics or glass, and once diluted the acid strength recedes, so grout and ceramic tiles are unaffected. Keep it off marble, terrazzo and laminate. Thickened formula clings to vertical surfaces: the viscous liquid holds onto shower walls and bowls rather than running to the floor, giving the organic acids time to break down soap scum and biowaste.

Dilution stretches the drum a long way: at 1 in 50 for floor mopping, a single 5Lt drum mixes into roughly 250 litres of mopping mix, which keeps the cost per bucket low.

Will not harm the surfaces washrooms are built from: stainless steel, porcelain, ceramics and glass stand up to prolonged contact, and diluted mixes leave grout and ceramic tiles unaffected.

Toilets and urinals: dilute 1 in 2 with water in a squeeze bottle. Apply around 80ml to the bowl, leave it a few minutes to attack the build-up, then scrub with a nylon brush.

Showers and baths: apply at 1 in 2 for the first heavy clean. Allow a few minutes to work on dirt and soap scum, scrub or sponge, then rinse off. For daily cleaning, dilute to 1 in 10 with water before applying.

Basins, benches and taps: dilute to 1 in 10 with warm water. Sponge or mop the mix over the surface to lift the soil, then rinse and wipe dry.

Washroom floors and walls: dilute to 1 in 50 with water in a bucket. Soak heavily soiled floors for a few minutes if needed, then mop clean. A fresh scent lingers even at this dilution.

Do not mix: do not mix Fresco with other chemicals unless the label or SDS states it can be done.
