Busy sites go through a lot of general spray-and-wipe cleaning. Benches get wiped between jobs, doors and switches are touched all day, and walls and desks pick up grease and hand marks. The wrong product just smears that soil around or drags it from one spot to the next.

Agar Citra-Mist is a spray-and-wipe cleaner concentrate for hard surfaces. It is mildly alkaline, sitting at about pH 10, which gives it a quick bite on grease and food soil so it lifts the mark in a single wipe instead of pushing it around. It comes as a concentrate, so you make up the strength each job needs, from a stronger mix for greasy work down to a light mix for everyday wiping.

A lower-impact cleaner that still moves quickly

Plenty of fast cleaners lean on harsh solvents to get their speed. Citra-Mist works from a water-based, mildly alkaline formula instead, so it is a lower-impact option for offices, schools and other occupied sites that want to cut back on harsh cleaning chemicals without slowing the round down. You dilute only what you need for the job in front of you, which is part of what makes the 5Lt drum practical for a team getting through a whole building.

Cuts greasy soil, not just surface dust: Citra-Mist is mildly alkaline at around pH 10, so it bites into grease and food marks and lifts them in one wipe rather than smearing them around.

One 5Lt drum makes up to about 100 litres: because it is a concentrate you dilute for the job, a single drum stretches across weeks of daily wiping before you reorder, which keeps the cost per clean low for a whole team.

Clears soil in a single pass: it lifts everyday soil with one spray and wipe, so cleaners move through benches, doors and desks faster instead of going back over the same spot.

Low VOC with a mild citrus scent: it is low in volatile organic compounds and lightly fragranced, so it freshens a room without leaving a heavy solvent smell in offices, classrooms or amenities.

Keeps for at least a year: a sealed drum has a minimum twelve-month shelf life, so buying the 5Lt size for a busy site does not mean tipping unused product away.

Citra-Mist is a concentrate, so dilute it before use.
Mix 1 part Citra-Mist with 5 parts warm water for heavier soil, and up to 1 part with 20 parts water for light daily wiping.

Spray onto the surface, spread it out, and wipe off with a damp cloth or sponge.
Rinse the cloth or sponge regularly in clean, warm water as you work, so you are lifting soil away rather than moving it from one spot to the next.

Safety and storage: Concentrated Citra-Mist is classified as hazardous. The signal word is Warning. It causes mild skin irritation (H316) and serious eye irritation (H319).

Wash contacted areas thoroughly after handling, and wear eye or face protection.
Wear gloves whenever you handle the concentrate or clean with the product.
If skin irritation occurs, get medical advice.
If it gets in the eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes, remove contact lenses if present and easy to do, then keep rinsing. If irritation persists, get medical attention.
If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Rinse the mouth, drink some water, and contact a Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 (available at all times in Australia) or a doctor.
Keep containers tightly closed and store out of direct heat.

Citra-Mist is not classified as a Dangerous Good for transport. Once diluted for use, the made-up cleaner is much milder than the concentrate in the drum.

Environmental and disposal: Citra-Mist is readily biodegradable and phosphate-free, built on renewable plant-derived surfactants, and is not classified as harmful to aquatic organisms.

Pour used, diluted cleaner into a drain or trough connected to sewer or septic, where it can be broken down. Do not tip it into stormwater drains, which run to local waterways. Dispose of in line with local council and regulatory requirements, and refer to Section 13 of the current SDS.
