Description

Low foam that keeps the machine moving

A busy sealed floor lives or dies on the daily clean, and on an auto scrubber the detergent matters as much as the machine. Put the wrong cleaner through the tank and foam builds fast, lifting the float early and stopping the operator long before the recovery tank is anywhere near full. Agar Autoscrub is a low foaming floor cleaner concentrate built to keep that from happening across auto scrubbing, mopping and manual scrubbing.

The low foam formula holds its height down so the recovery tank fills with dirty water rather than froth, which keeps the machine working through the shift. Food spills, drink marks, cooking oil, grease and general traffic dirt lift away, and the soil stays suspended in the water so it does not settle back onto the floor as you work. On surfaces finished with a sealer or polish, cleaning happens without cutting into the polymer coating, so the finish keeps its life instead of dulling off under daily traffic.

Because it is a concentrate, one 5Lt drum makes up many buckets of diluted cleaner before you reorder, which keeps the cost of each clean low on a big site. Sealed and polished hard floors on commercial sites and around the home are where it fits, and it takes care of walls and glass as well.

Keeps your auto scrubber running, not stopping: Low foam means the recovery tank fills with dirty water instead of bubbles, so the float does not rise early and you are not pausing to bail out froth.

Cuts grease and food soil, not just surface dust: It lifts cooking oil, grease, food spills and traffic dirt, so heavy commercial floors come up properly rather than just looking wiped over.

Cleans without stripping the finish: Grease and dirt come away while the sealer or polish stays intact, so a waxed or polished floor keeps its shine under daily cleaning.

Holds dirt so it does not settle back: Loosened soil stays suspended in the water rather than redepositing, which leaves the floor evenly clean as the machine or mop passes over.

One drum stretches a long way: A 5Lt concentrate makes up many buckets before you reorder, which brings the cost of each clean down on a big site

Usage Guidelines

Autoscrub is a concentrate, so dilute it with water before use. Match the strength to how dirty the floor is.

Heavy duty cleaning: dilute 1 part Autoscrub to 50 parts water. That is about three quarters of a cup per bucket, 1 litre per tank in a small scrubber, or 2 litres per tank in a large scrubber.
Light duty cleaning: dilute 1 part Autoscrub to 100 parts water. That is about half a cup per bucket, half a litre per tank in a small scrubber, or 1 litre per tank in a large scrubber.

Run the diluted cleaner through an auto scrubber, or apply it with a mop, sponge or by hand scrubbing, and work the floor until it is clean.

Once the floor is clean, let it dry. No rinsing is needed when Autoscrub is used at the correct dilution.

Do not mix Autoscrub with other chemicals.

FAQ

Q. Does low foaming mean Autoscrub cleans less?

A. No, the suds are not what does the cleaning, so less foam does not mean a weaker result. The detergent still lifts grease, food and traffic dirt, and the low foam just stops froth from flooding an auto scrubber and its vacuum motor. You get the clean without the bubbles working against the machine.

Q. Can I just put dishwashing liquid in my auto scrubber instead?

A. Better not to. Dishwashing liquid and other household soaps foam heavily, which fills the recovery tank with froth and can pull foam into the vacuum motor, tripping the float early and wearing the machine out sooner. Keep dish soap for a quick hand wash of a small area, and run a low foaming detergent through the machine.

Q. Do I need to rinse the floor after cleaning with Autoscrub?

A. No, there is no rinse step when it is used at the correct dilution. It lifts and holds the soil in the water, which the scrubber squeegee or your mop then lifts away, so the floor is simply left to dry. Skipping the rinse saves water and a second pass across the floor.

Q. Will Autoscrub leave a dull film or make the floor slippery once it dries?

A. Not when it is measured to the correct dilution, because it is a cleaner rather than a polish and adds no coating to the floor. A slippery or dull film almost always comes from overdosing, so stick to the dilution rate and let the floor dry fully. If a floor was overdosed earlier, a fresh water pass clears it.

Q. Does Autoscrub have a strong chemical smell?

A. No, it carries a mild pine scent rather than a harsh chemical odour. That makes it easier to use in occupied spaces such as schools, offices and aged care, where a heavy smell becomes a problem. Diluting it to the correct rate keeps the scent light.

Q. Will Autoscrub leave scum in my scrubber, or do I still need to clean the tank?

A. Empty and rinse the recovery tank after each job, because any detergent left sitting can build into a residue over time. Keeping the tank clear also protects the suction and stops stale smells from developing. A quick rinse between fills is all it takes.
