Agar Ammodet is a high foaming detergent boosted with ammonia. It removes grease, food spills, fatty films, smears and marks from a wide range of surfaces such as walls, floors, utensils, kitchen ducting, windows, mirrors, porcelain and paintwork. It squeegees off glass surfaces leaving them sparkling and streak‑free. It is not recommended for polished floors.

Where to Use Ammodet

Ammodet is a multi-purpose detergent suitable for a wide range of unpolished surfaces.

• Glass: Windows, mirrors, and glass partitions.
• Hard Surfaces: Walls, porcelain tiles, kitchen utensils, and ducting.
• Painted Surfaces: Painted walls and door frames.
• Important: Do not use on polished floors, as the ammonia content may strip or dull the floor polish.

How to Use Agar Ammodet

1. General Cleaning (Windows, Walls, Utensils): Dilute 1 part Ammodet to between 100 and 200 parts warm water (1:100 – 1:200).
2. Heavy Soilage: For greasy areas or kitchen ducting, increase the concentration to 1 part Ammodet to 60 parts water (1:60).
3. Application: Apply the solution with a sponge, mop, or cloth.
4. Glass Cleaning: Apply to the window and squeegee off immediately for a streak-free shine.
5. Rinsing: For food contact surfaces or heavy soil, rinse with clean water.

Q. Can I use this on sealed timber floors? A. It is generally safe for sealed surfaces, but it is not recommended for floors coated with sacrificial polishes (sealers) as ammonia can act as a stripper. Always test a small area first.

Q. Does it smell strong? A. As it contains ammonia, it has a distinct chemical aroma which helps indicate its cleaning power. Ensure good ventilation when using in confined spaces.
